Maria Mikileva is a French painter and dancer of Russian origin.
Since her childhood Maria learned painting from her mother, the teacher of painting and architecture. In 2005 Maria Mikileva enters the Moscow State Pedagogical University on the faculty of foreign languages. At the same time she attends classes of painting in « Selfart » School of Art in Moscow. In 2010 Maria leaves Russia to study in France.

At present, she finishes her Doctoral Dissertation in history of art and architecture in the University of Perpignan Via Domitia. Maria Mikileva lives and work in Nice (France) as an artist.

Her favorite subject in art is butterflies, which are the symbols of life and transformation. The joy, the energy and the color are present in each of her works. For the artist her paintings are « the way to give the exact definition of love and happiness ».
