Detail
We would like to invite you to our next extraordinary exhibition of Peter Imsdahl:
Baltic & Mediterranean Avenues, the First Stops
These first two stops in the game of Monopoly are often the two you jump – with a fortuitous roll of the dice – on your way to richer properties.
This exhibition, however, will be stopping at only those two places: the Baltic and the Mediterranean Seas. The waters of each offering blues that stem from two different tubes.
There is a Chinese saying that suggests that you need to be 60 before you can write poems.
Peter Imsdahl has applied this to painting. But long before he turned 60, he studied writing at the University of Iowa’s Writer’s Workshop; poetry with Gerald Stern, fiction with James McPherson, fairy tales with Angela Carter.
Painting he studied under his father.
Join us and let yourself be enchanted by his beautiful paintings.
